LimbPower launched the Junior Games in 2013 to offer children and adolescents an opportunity to engage in physical activity and sports in a safe and friendly environment. This event is a stepping stone to further activity and local participation. At the event your child will get to try a number of sports delivered by coaches who work for National Governing Bodies of Sport or clubs and who have experience of working with disabled people. They can give you and your child information on how to get involved in the sports on offer.
The Junior Gams takes place on 1st October 2016 at Stoke Mandeville Stadium.
The event is open to 5-18 year olds.
Welcome to our event page. In this section you will find information on LimbPower's participation events designed to support and encourage Individuals with limb impairments (amputees, individuals with an acquired physical impairment which affects their limbs) and children born with limb absence or limb difference) to engage in physical activity, sport and the arts. You will also find events organised by selected partners that we think will benefit you and help you get back to your pre injury/illness fitness level and beyond. In additional you will find information on LimbPower's fundraising events and challenges. We actively encourage individuals with limb impairments, our members, partners, friends and family to join us on these challenges. Providing individual who have benefitted from the charities work with an opportunity to give something back has been an incredible rewarding experience for the participants and for LimbPower.
